“In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent the most
Merciful”
“Islam” a religion of tolerance, peace, humanity, respect
& justice has been given a bad name by an ignorant &
misguided Muslim group against the teaching of the Holy Qur’an
they know well. We as Muslims must make Justice with ourselves
before Justice is made to us. What message we have been
spreading to the non-Muslims who want to convert into it. How
hard for a converted to find the right path of Islam which leads
to Heaven. The Holy Qur’an Sura Ad Dahr (Insaan) Verse 3
“Verily have we shown him the (right) way, be he grateful or
ungrateful”. This means that Divine guidance is there for all.
The choice is availing is thankfully or not availing is
thanklessly, is left to each individual human being.
A converted Muslimah came to know from the scholars of different
schools of Muslim thought that they all were united on
Prophet’s Hadith “This Ummah will split into seventy-three
sects, all of them in the Fire (of Hell) except one"
She decided to find the right path of Heaven but that was only
possible after studying & discussing the “Origin of Sects
in Islam”.
Besides the Holy Qur’an She collected six most important books
of Islam ( Bukhari, Muslim, Mishqaat, Termizi, Ibn-e-Majah &
Tarikh-e-Tibri) & found out the most important incident,
mentioned in all the six books related to her search:
On the last days of the Prophet (s.a.w) when he was seriously
ill on his bed. All the family members were present including
few companions, whispering each other. Suddenly Prophet asked
Umer bin Al-Khattab (Second Khalifah) to provide him with
material (pen & paper) to write down his last “WILL” (Waseeha)
“ so that you would never be astray (misguided)”. Umer bin
Al-Khattab answered loudly to Prophet (s.a.w) “Inner-rajula Layahjur. Hasboona-Kitaab-Allah” (This guy has lost his
senses. Allah’s book is enough for us) When Prophet (s.a.w)
heard his answer & said to him “Qoomu Enni” ( get out
from here). But in Bukhari it is mentioned in same Arabic words
with different (light) English translation:
http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/hadithsunnah/bukhari/070.sbt.html
(Bukhari) Volume 7, Book 70, Number 573:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
When Allah's Apostle was on his death-bed and in the house there
were some people among whom was 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, the
Prophet said, "Come, let me write for you a statement after
which you will not go astray." 'Umar said, "The
Prophet is seriously ill and you have the Qur'an; so the Book of
Allah is enough for us." The people present in the house
differed and quarrelled. Some said to Umar "Go near so that
the Prophet may write for you a statement after which you will
not go astray," while the others said as Umar said. When
they caused a hue and cry before the Prophet, Allah's Apostle
said to Umar "Go away!"
Narrated 'Ubaidullah: Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "It was very
unfortunate that Allah's Apostle was prevented from writing that
statement for them because of their disagreement and
noise."
Let us see what the Holy Qur’an says about the Pen & the
Holy Prophet in Sura Al-Qalam verses 1 to 4:
1- By the Pen & what they write,
2- You (O’ our Prophet ) by the grace of the Lord, are not
mad,
3- And verily there is for you a recompense unending,
4- And most certainly you stand on sublime morality,
The Al-Mighty Allah’s love expressed for His beloved Prophet
Mohammed (SAW) in Sura-Al-Ahzab Verse 56:
“Verily God & His angels bless the Prophet ! O’ ye who
believe ! send ye blessings on him and ye greet him with a
salutation worthy of the respect (due to him)” When this verse
was revealed someone asked the Holy Prophet as how should the
believers recite salawat “Darood” or salutation to him. He
said “Allahumma sale Ala Mohammed Wa-aale Mohammed Kama
sallaita wa Barakta ala Ibrahim wa Aale Ibrahim Innaka Hamidun
Majeed”. (O’ Lord bestow the mercy & grace upon Mohammed
& the progeny of Mohammed (Ahlul-Bait) as thou didst bestow
the mercy & blessing upon Abraham & the progeny of
Abraham, verily thou are the Most Praised & the Most
Glorious One)
If the Holy Qur’an had been enough (known) for Umer bin Al-Kattab
then he should have recited the salawat in the above mentioned
incident in stead of saying to Prophet “Inner-rajula Layahjur.
Hasboona-Kitaab-Allah” (This guy has lost his senses.
Allah’s book is enough for us)
Umer bin Al-Khattab got angry & left Prophet’s bed with
all his companions to Bani-Saqifah to choose a Khalifah. During
the process he came to know about Prophet’s (s.a.w) demise
& his funeral timings, announced by Syedna Ali’s messenger
but some of them were stopped by Omer bin Al-Kattab, those who
wanted to attend the funeral with these words “decision of a
Khalifah after the Prophet’s demise is more important than
joining Prophet’s funeral”. Syedna Ali performed Prophet’s
(saw) funeral prayers & was laid to rest by his only family
members.
It was further proved by the above mentioned books that after
coming back from the Bani-Saqeefah, Abu-Baker as chosen Khalifah,
forfeited the garden of FID’K owned by the Prophet’s
daughter Syeda Fatima (SA). When Umer bin Al-khattab came to
know that Ali Ibn Abi-Talib had refused to follow (Baiyat)
Abu-Baker as Khalifah then he attacked Syedna Ali’s house,
burned & broke the door (which fell on Syeda Fatima &
her child inside her body was killed who was named Mohsin later
on) & pulled Syedna Ali out, asked him to follow the chosen
Khalifah Abu-Bak’r.
The above mentioned incidents proved the converted Muslimah
about the origin of two sects in Islam at that time. One started
from the Prophet’s (saw) bed & other from Bani-Saqeefah.
These two were divided into 72 by the battles of Jamal, Sifeen,
Karbala & so one----- but it is easy to find out the right
path from the two sects (Prophet’s bed & Bani Saqeefa) in
stead of 72 now-a-days.
The above mentioned Incident was the origin of second sect in
Islam & diversion from the right path. The Holy Qur’an
proves the right path in Sura Al-Imran verse 61; This verse is a
reference to the historic Mubahila or the Spiritual Contest with
the Christians of Najran when the Holy Prophet declared the
personnel of his Ahlul-Bait (AS) as the only Right Path:
61- Say, (O our Apostle Mohammed !) (unto them) come ye, let us
summon our sons. And (ye summon) your sons, and (we summon) our
women, and (ye) your women, and (we summon) our selves and (ye)
your selves and then let us invoke & lay the curse of God on
the liars!” (Ref of the above mentioned verse from the Holy
Qur’an, translated by Sheikh Mahmoodul Hasan, Documentary by
Shabbir Ahmed Osmani, printed by Malik Fahad printing complex,
Saudi Arabia in 1989:)
“It was a spiritual context between Prophet & Head of
Christians of Najran who (Christians) believed that Jesus Christ
was son of God. Curse of God was decided on liars. Prophet took
out with his daughter Fatima, Ali, Hasan & Hussein. When the
head of Christian named “laat” looked at Prophet’s family
members from distance, started shouting “ such lights are
coming out from their faces (Ahlul-Bait) if they order these
mountains to leave their places, they (mountains) will obey”
He warned his followers not to invoke with them “otherwise no
Christian will be left safe on earth by their curse. They
decided to withdraw, promised to pay annual tax as fine &
went back.
The above mentioned documentary is accepted by all schools of
Islamic thoughts. The Christians of Najran realized & did
not confront but Alas! Few Muslims could not.& their
followers have still been killing the followers of Ahlul-Bait
(AS).
“(The Holy Prophet) who spoke nothing but the revelation from
God” said “ I leave behind me amidst you two great things,
the Book of God (The Holy Qur’an) & my Ahlul-Bait; should
ye be attached to these two, never never shall ye get astray
after me, for verily these two will never be separated from each
other until they meet at the spring (of Kauthar)” (Ref >
Tafir-e-Kabir, Tafir-e-Durre-Manthur, & other---)
The newly converted Muslimah asked only one question from Wahabi,
Salafi & Daubandi scholars first about the above mentioned
incident. “ Was Syedana Mohammed (S.A.W) considered as Prophet
by Umar Ibn Al-Kattab when he refused to listen him & said:
Hasboona Kitaab Allah, (Allah’s book is enough for us”? She
was told by the scholars that Umer bin Al-Khattab was right in
his answer to Prophet (saw) because Quraish in their old ages
used to loose their senses. He also never saw him reading or
writing.
She contacted Sunni scholar who said“ We can not say who was
wrong or lost his senses. If we say Syedna Umer was wrong then
he is responsible of all the misguidance, warned by the Prophet
(saw) . We can not also say that our Prophet (saw) was wrong”.
The newly converted Muslimah was not satisfied & contacted a
Shia scholar. She was made clear in the lights of the verses of
the Holy Qur’an, Agreement of Suleh Hudaibiya changed &
signed by Prophet, his other miracles & the most important
incident mentioned in all six books (Bokhari, Muslim, Termizi------including
Sunni’e Tafseer Dure-Mansoor Volume-2 page 259) when Prophet
(saw) was coming back from Hajj.
He stopped his caravan on 18th Zil-Hajjah at the place of
“Ghadeer Khum” gathered all the followers, made a stage
& raised Imam Ali’s hand with these words “ man kuntu
moula fa Aliun moula” (Whomsoever master (mawla) I am, this
'Ali is also his master) All the followers congratulated Imam
Ali including Umer Ibn Kattab. Prophet (saw) then recited the
verse of the Holy Qur’an Sura Al-Maidah Verse 3 “ Al-Youm
Akmaltu Lakum Deenakum-----“ (This day,I have perfected your
religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen
for you Islâm as your religion)
The Holy Prophet (saw) was not out of his senses due to his
sickness but Umer Ibn Kattab knew what Prophet (saw) wanted to
write, was not acceptable to him otherwise it was obligatory for
Umer to listen him as alive Prophet(saw) saying “so that you (Umer)
would not go astray”. Instead of Umer’s saying “ this guy
has lost his senses, Allah’s book is enough for us”
The incident of Ghadir Khum was not only a thorn in Umer Ibn Al-Kattab’s
mind (which in fact made him out of senses not Prophet due to
his sickness) but also in the minds of his followers due to
these following reasons:
The Arabs (in particular, the Quraysh) were reluctant to accept
'Ali as the Prophet's successor not only because of his young
age but also because he had killed their leaders in the early
battles of Islam. According to the Shi'as, Allah also knew about
this reluctance and that is why after ordering the Prophet to
proclaim 'Ali as his successor ("O the Messenger! Convey
what had been revealed to you..."), He reassured His
Messenger by saying that, "Allah will protect you from the
people."
(5:67) The Prophet was commissioned to convey the message of
Allah, no matter whether the Arabs liked it or not. They
accepted command of Syeda Aeysha Bint Abu Bak’r (daughter of
first Khalifah) in the battle of Jamal against Imam Ali (more
younger than him) but refused to honour the Prophet’s words of
Ghadir Khum.
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) said: O' Fatimah! Every eye shall be
weeping on the Day of Judgment except the eye which has shed
tears over the tragedy of Husain (A.S.) for surely, that eye
shall be laughing and shall be given the glad tidings of the
bounties and comforts of Paradise. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 44 pg.
193)
The Famous Verse of the Holy Qur’an Sura Al-Shura verse 23
“Qul Laa-asalokum Alaihey Ajran Illal Mawaddatah Fil Qurba”
(Prophet>tell them (People) Allah does not ask (need)
anything except the extreme love for Prophet’s Ahlul-Bait.
May Allah bring peace in Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine &
Kashmir, unity among Muslims but those who are killing Shias in
Iraq & Pak, follow the Sunnah of their leaders who attacked
on the Prophet (SAW)’s mind first then his daughter Sayeda
Zahra’s (SA) house.
If someone made mistake as a human then his mistake should not
be followed to divide Islam. The above mentioned thorns of
history are more fatal than the bullets they fire on Shias.
There is no room for terrorism in Islam, neither Prophet (SAW)
killed or attacked on a single innocent human / creature nor
twelve Imams in their whole lives. After studying the history of
Islam a student can easily find out the fact that they ( Ahlul-Bait
& Imams) were in fact the victims of terrorism. True Islam
was spread with tolerance not sword.
It is requested to the Muslim brothers who believe that Umer ibn
Kattab was right in his answer to Prophet (SAW), Yazeed Ibn
Ma’awiya was right Khalifah (who killed Prophet’s family in
Karbala) & your present believes are same that by killing a
follower of Ahlul-Bait (Shia) you will get a house in Heaven
like Umer ibn Kattab & Yazeed; Please read this verse of the
Holy Qur’an Sura An-Nisa Verse 93 “And whosoever kills a
believer (Momin) intentionally, his compensate shall be Hell, he
shall abide therein & God’s wrath shall be on him &
His curse, & (there) is prepared for him a great torment”.
Please answer this simple question : if Qur’an is enough for
you without Ahlul-Bait, Q; Is there any other biggest Momin than
the unborn child of Prophet’s daughter Syeda Zahra (SA) killed
by Umer Ibn Kattab’s attack & Prophet’s grand son
Hussein killed by Yazeed Ibn Wa’awiya in Karbala ?
What will happen to them in the lights of the above mentioned
verse of the Holy Qur’an & also you who believe that they
were right ?
Why did Prophet (saw) not take these companions with him against
the Christians of Najran If they were more important than Ahlul-Bait
?
Why did they attack on Syedna Ali against the teachings of the
Holy Qur’an & Sunnah while he was also one of the
companions of Prophet (saw) & part of Ahlul-Bait. There are
true companions of Prophet (s.a.w) like Syedna Ali, Amar Ibn
Yaser, Salman Farsi & Bilal Habashi, Ibn Abbas ------ who
never attacked on his bro & always followed the Sunnah.
Historical events like Ghadir Khum, Prophet’s last words with
Umer Ibn Al-Kattab, & battles fought among Prophet’s
companions can never be denied but all schools of Islamic
thoughts are agreed on this principle “
If a Hadith is contradicted by the verse / verses of the Holy
Qur’an is considered as false”. So many false hadiths were
produced by the factories of those companions in their favours
to justify their injustices against the Allah’s book &
Prophet’s (s.a.w) Ahlul-Bait.
As for as the verses of the Holy Qur’an are concerned
regarding the companionship, Shias have respects for those
companions, who did not attack on Prophet’s (s.a.w) mind &
his Ahlul-Bait for sake of Allah’s Book & His Happiness.
How can we ignore the facts (battles) of the Islamic history in
which thousands of Muslim were killed from both sides & With
their bases of Justice on those facts, their followers have
still been killing the followers of Prophet (s.a.w) & his
Ahlul-Bait.
World leaders are still unable to find the definition of
“Terrorism” which can be defined in simple words “ Attack
on an innocent with intension to create chaos / terrors in the
whole community, city, country or world, called Terrorism.
Historical definition of Terrorism:
The whole world knows very well that Osama bin Laden was the
most favourite son of his parents against the Russian invasion
of Afghanistan & Saddam was for the invasion of Iran.
When Saddam was using chemicals against Iran then his parents
were enjoying the firework of their beloved son but when Osama
bin Laden hit the World Trade Centre then whole world started
crying “Terrorism”. In July,2005 some innocent people were
killed by misguided children (terrorists) in London & the
world again got united to eliminate terrorism from England but
every day 50 to 100 innocent civilians (Shia-Muslim) have been
killed by Zarqawi no one cares about them except.
It is duty of his parents to stop him from Iraq but are they
again enjoying the play of their 3rd son ? while innocent Iraqi
civilians are just like other, killed in act of terrorism in NY
& London. Is this a family conflict or an act of terrorism ?
After the incident of WTC. A documentary was shown by CNN with
proofs that America spent millions of dollars to organise
Taleban in Pakistan against Iran as substitute of Saddam. After
invading Afghanistan they wiped out the whole Shia community
including the Iranian Embassy & consulates staff to please
their dad with same brutal acts exercised by Saddam in Iraq
& Yazeed in Karbala.
Pakistan also supported them with hopes that they would help to
liberate Kashmir but they not only started helping Sipa-e-Sahaba
to kill Shias in Pakistan but also providing shelter to its
terrorists in Afghanistan. Sipa-e-Sahaba is an army of Yazeed
created by late Gen. Ziaul-Haq to take revenge from Shias who
refused to pay him Zaqaat by force while they never refused to
pay the Zaqaat according to the teaching of the Holy Qur’an
& our Prophet (s.a.w).
This organisation has been still killing Shias in Pakistan
including attacks on Gen. Musharraf who has been trying to cut
the tree planted by another Gen.
The term “Wipe Out”
A kiss should never be expected in response of the spit “Axis
of Evils” based on lies & cheating to the whole world.
Iran used the term in defence of Muslim Ummah with truth &
proofs to change the Zionist Regime in the same way as America
changed the terrorist regimes in Afghanistan & Iraq to
protect Israel.
In their opinions Zionists lobby is in fact Mother of all Evils,
who also hanged a follower of Jesus Christ ( but Christians
belief that he was the Jesus Christ ) & do not love peace in
the world. That term was not used against those Jews who love
peace in the Muslim world.
The America is called the most hated nation of the world not
because of his people who are mostly good by nature but because
of its regimes. It is not only in the Muslim world but what is
also happening in the Central American States against American
policies is proof of the fact that wherever there is unrest in
any country of the world a Zionist hand will be found directly
or indirectly.
When the Zionist lobby threatened Iran first to wipe out its
Islamic regimes with the words” Axis of Evils” then Iran had
the right to respond in war of the words “Wipe Out” as
“kill it before it kills you”, done by America & Britain
in Afghanistan & Iraq due to the chaos created by their
disobedient sons to protect Israel. If the wipe out of innocent
civilians would have been allowed in Shia Islam then Ayatullah
Sistani had the best opportunity to wipe all the followers of
Saddam out of Iraq by issuing Fatwa to his followers. After
another occupation,
Shias of Iraq have only two options left, either they keep
silent to keep the lion in the cage who had been eating their
meats for the last 30 years or help Zarqawi would mean “come
bull hit us again” Shia Islam believes a nose for a nose, an
ear for an ear, a hand for a hand, a leg for a leg. Not a son
for a dad, a cousin for a brother, a civilian for a soldier.
These were the beliefs of Yazeed Ibn Ma’awiya when Imam
Hussein’s head was presented to him, he said “would that
today my grandfathers had been present here. I would have shown
how I took revenge of (battles) Bad’r, Ohad & Khandaq”
Those countries, have given birth to Muslim terrorists for their
own greed & selfishness must learn lessons now that the
principle of “Divide & Rule” has more side effects than
their greed. How can these kids (Saddam & Osama), given
birth by such parents cry for “Jihad” with the feeders in
their mouths. The America & Britain must follow the example
of Scandinavia to bring peace in the world where there is no
room for “Divide & Rule”. States treat every human
equally with respect of his culture & religion.
In Islam both acts mentioned above are called “Terrorism”.
Oppressor is born from the backbone of a coward. As much as the
coward gets weaker the more & more an oppressor gets
stronger but end of every oppressor is the worst. The biggest
oppressor of the history of mankind was found & taken out
from a spider hole whose son Udah used to feed his lions with
Shias legs & arms.
Islam prefers forgiveness instead of revenge if someone really
repents on his sin. The famous verse of the Holy Qur’an.
“Innallaha Ya Maroo Bil Adle Wal-Ahsaan” ( Allah orders
(prefers) to make Justice with forgiveness)
Imam Ali (AS) said:
“Live amongst people in such a manner that if you die they
weep over you and if you are alive they crave for your
company”. “If you overpower your enemy then pardon him by
way of thankfulness to Allah for being able to subdue him”.
The Holy Qur’an further says in Sura Al-Imran verse:
103- And hold fast to the cord of God All together, & be not
divided (among yourselves). Dear brothers & sisters in
Islam. Please read the verse of the Holy Qur’an &
Prophet’s Hadith (73 Sects) mentioned above are the strongest
warnings against the disunity among you. Disunity among you will
serve the principle of “Divide & Rule”. Your Qalema is
One with basic principles of Deen.
Please do not listen to your own Mulla with one yard beard if he
makes you fool by telling lies that Shias do not believe in the
same Qur’an, their Qalima is different, Pray three Salaats
instead of five or do not pay Zaqaat.
Either he is completely ignorant of Shia’s beliefs /
obligations or intentionally cheating you like Yazeed who knew
the Importance of Imam Hussein.
Please do not kill your innocent brothers in Deen due to
someone’s mistake in history. You will never get a palace in
Heaven if you remember The Holy Prophet’s very famous hadith
“Al-Hasan Wal- Hussein Syeda Shababe Ahlil Janna” (Hasan
& Hussein are Heads of Heaven) Yazeed will never build a
house in heaven for you after killing an innocent Muslim bro.
Follow the path of (Ahlul-Bait) Sura Al-Imran verse 61; as
mentioned above if Allah’s book is enough for you.
(May All Mighty Allah show the 72 sects of Islam the right path,
unite all Muslims, keep our coming generations & us safe
from the path of terrorists, oppressors & enemies of Islam (Aameen)

Letters of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taalib, peace be upon him
from Nahjul Balaagha (The Peak of Eloquence)
- To the people of Kufa after the conquest of Basra.
- To the Qadhi of Kufa, Shurayh b. Haarith when he purchased a costly house.
- To one of the commanders of his army.
- To the hypocrite Ash’ath bin Qays when he usurped public funds.
- To Mu’awiya on his (Ali’s) right to the caliphate.
- To Mu’awiya, on receiving letters from him based on hypocritical advice and false accusations.
- Jarir bin Abdullah Bajali was sent to
Damascus. He was carrying a letter for Mu’awiya. Some delay occurred in
his return. Imam Ali (a) felt anxious about his safety and wrote the
following letter to him.
- To Mu’awiya.
- To Mu’awiya.
- Part of instructions to his marshal when Imam Ali (a) sent him to a battle.
- When Imam Ali (a) sent an expedition of 3000
soldiers under Ma’qil bin Qays Riyahi against the Syrians, he issued
the following instructions.
- Instructions to two of his commanders.
- To his soldiers before the Battle of Siffin.
- His invocation to Allah whenever he faced an enemy.
- His advice to his followers during a battle.
- A reply to a letter of Mu’awiya.
- When Abdullah bin Abbas was the Governor of
Basra, Imam Ali (a) wrote the following letter to him. The cause of
this letter was the behaviour of Ibn Abbas towards the clan of Bani
Tamim. Ibn Abbas hated them because some of them had sided with Talha
and Zubayr in the Battle of Jamal and therefore, he had on occasions
treated them scornfully. They reported this matter to Imam Ali (a)
requesting that the whole clan should not be treated badly because of
the folly of a few. This letter shows what a kind rule it was that Imam
Ali (a) wanted to introduce.
- A letter to one of his governors. It speaks
volumes about the ways of Divine Rule. It shows how Imam Ali (a) was
training the Muslims to behave tolerantly towards other religions, how
minority was to be treated and what should those who hold a different
creed, expect of a Muslim ruler.
- To the corrupt Ziyad ibn Abih, who had been appointed as the Commissioner of Basra by Abdullah bin Abbas.
- Another letter to Ziyad ibn Abih.
- An advice to Abdullah b. Abbas, which the
latter claimed, that except for the advice of the Holy Prophet (s), no
advice had been so beneficial to him as this.
- Instructions to his family a little before his martyrdom.
- His Will in which he has left instructions as
to how to treat his property and estate. It was written after his
return from the Battle of Siffin.
- Directions to assessors and collectors of Zakat.
- His instructions to Zakat collectors.
- Instructions to Muhammad b. Abu Bakr when he appointed him as the Governor of Egypt.
- A famous reply to the letter of Mu’awiya. It
throws ample light on many phases of the history of Islam from the time
of its dawn up to the time of Imam Ali (a).
- To the people of Basra.
- To Mu’awiya.
- Advice to one of his sons after returning
from the Battle of Siffin. Some historians consider him to be Imam
Hasan (a) while others are of the opinion that he was Muhammad
Hanafiya. He wrote them in the form of a will. They deal with almost
every aspect of life which goes a long way to make a man successful in
life - brave, humane, generous, virtuous and pious.
- To Mu’awiya.
- To Qutham b. Abbas, the brother of Abdullah b. Abbas, who was the Governor of Imam Ali (a) in the province of Hijaz.
- Muhammad, son of Abu Bakr (the 1st caliph)
was one of the favourite disciples and companions of Imam Ali (a). Imam
Ali (a) had treated and trained him like his own son and had appointed
him as the Governor of Egypt. Later on Imam Ali (a) called him back
from Egypt and sent Maalik Ashtar as the Governor. Muhammad thought
that he was deposed and felt sad about it. When Imam Ali (a) came to
know of this he wrote the following letter to him.
- When Muhammad bin Abi Bakr was killed in
Egypt by the guerrillas of Mu’awiya through disloyalty of his
(Muhammad’s) own companions and officers, Imam Ali (a) felt sad and
wrote the following letter to Abdullah b. Abbas.
